My Healing Continues...

As many individuals are aware, I've been healing for nearly two years after having brain surgery. This was due to a lifetime seizure disorder that got so extreme, that I couldn't really do anything anymore.
About 18 years ago, I went to college after working an engineering tech job where I reached my limit. While going to college and moving to a new location, I noticed the seizures were happening on a more regular basis. Fortunately, I could feel ahead of time before seizures started. At that time, I started my company Excalibur Woodworks, allowing me to work when feeling well.
I ended up having "bundles" of seizures of different types for a shorter period of time than the good times without them. Year after year, the bundles worsened to the point that many more seizures took place than without them. I ended up having more seizures that were no longer in bundles. As of 2024, I was longing for help. I prayed so often to God for help.
I reached out to my neurologist where testing was ordered. In short, I was sent to the Cleveland Clinic, known for many reasons. What's different is an epilepsy center - that I've never heard of before. On top of that, I was able to meet with my epileptologist - this is a very specialized neurologist focused on epilepsy.
I have been blessed and am seizure-free from the time I had surgery. I felt inspired to write this book about a week before then. I thought I would be writing a book about the miracle of becoming seizure-free, which is awesome. It turns out that I was to include the healing process of my surgery, which I wasn't able to find much about when searching. It took well over a year to develop this process. I continue healing with such a deep surgery that I had. This is where many miracles are taking place in motion, one day at a time.
As I look back at my experiences, I now can see these experiences as parts of many miracles that were just starting. It doesn't always come overnight, but many times in steps and sometimes many steps.
My hope is that people who read this book are uplifted when they, or someone they know, are going through hard times. Know you are not alone, and learn to give yourself grace.

I also want to point out that this couldn't happen without support from my wife, family, friends, professionals, all directed by God.
